Hope everyone had a good bike week! the team headed to gainesville on march 3rd for the season opener of the ahdra bike week nationals march 4th and 5th. we had planned on going up early to do the test & tune session, but we created an air leak and decided to change all the aircraft fittings. saturday was the first round of qualifying for the team. as we made it to the line the bike shot out like a rocket and we managed to stay right with the #1 qualifier. then at 1 2 track something went away and oj managed to shut it down and coast to the end. the bike broke a rocker arm and ther4 was no one in the pits that had one we could borrow, so that ended our weekend. not all was a loss, we still managed to qualify 13th and gained some valuable points. the team would like to thank everyone who rode up and we did manage to cook some hot dogs and burgers for a few people. the bike was loaded on a friends trailer for a trip back to texas so mike lazano of lbp could install the new jessel valve train. the bike is scheduled to be ready for the dallas nationals on april 22nd and 23rd. the season opener had a lot of bikes in attendance and a huge crowd on hand. we are looking forward to a good season.
