Outlook: the integration of tms will provide a growth impetus over fy05 and fy06. while npat for the nine months to march 2005 has almost doubled to ##TEXT##.4m over the period, the combined npat for jum tms is .28m assuming consolidation for the period ; . tms has historically being a non--internet-based lottery distributor and hence will benefit from jum's technical capabilities. also, the launch of its online betting exchange will provide jum with an opportunity to participate in this high-growth market. catalysts: the stock has rallied largely on the back of the tms acquisition; potential integration benefits offer scope for further share price strength. downside risk lies in changes in the operating environment of tms and in the potential failure of the online betting exchange to gain fruition. however, considering jum's strong growth outlook from its increased participation in gaming, we would regard the latter as a temporary setback. risks: online security; however, considerable effort is made to ensure payments are secure and online fraud is kept to minimal levels. risks facing tms are changes in current legislation and uncertainty surrounding the renewal of the agreements with tattersall's and nsw lotteries corporation that run through to calendar 2010.

When the men got home they noticed that the security committee had already started on the preparations that had been approved. the silver hills sign had been taken down and susan banks was supervising a group of several men who were digging a foxhole for the guards where gunny had suggested. about ten other men were working on the ditch. ted and a couple of other men were driving t-posts into the ground for the barbed wire fence and another man was working with a post hole digger. chaparo was putting a big pipe in the ground to hang the gate off of. mark stopped the truck to check on everyone's progress. chaparo told mark that the gate was almost ready. it just needed a few finishing touches and as soon as he had the pipes set that they could hang it. he had found a bag of concrete to set the poles with. susan said that she had quite a few volunteers to dig the fox holes and to dig out the ditch. she had checked with gunny and he told her that they needed to talk a little bit about where the other holes would go, but that she could start on this one for the guard post. ted came over and told mark that he had taken his trans with the little motorcycle trailer to poth to buy the t-posts. he said that he didn't have enough money to buy all of the posts and barbed wire but that he was able to get enough to get them started. they were setting the posts every ten feet. every fifth one was going to be a three inch steel pipe that chaparo had promised to make as soon as the gate was finished. ted suggested that they might want to ask for donations toward the rest of the materials, like the gardening committee had. chaparo finally noticed that mark and jim didn't have anything on the trailer. he asked them how it had gone and they told the security committee members what had happened. "so what are we going to do about water?" ted asked. "we can keep using the generator for a while. there is plenty of gas in the cars that won't run to last several months if we're careful. we'll just keep looking, there has to be a windmill we can buy or borrow somewhere." mark answered. the two friends excused themselves and drove up to the house. gunny and the four women were still gone to the store. george was supervising the tilling across the street and walked over when he saw the red truck pull into the driveway. jim explained to him that their trip had not been successful and he went back to his job. when they went into the house, sam had emptied the pantry out onto the kitchen table and floor and was writing everything into a large spiral notebook. david was reading a book to the twins. it was almost lunch time so the men fixed lunch for everyone. afterwards, jim headed back over to manny's to finish fixing his suburban. mark looked in the shed, found a shovel and headed down to help with the digging. it was hard work. gunny had told them that the near side of the ditch needed to be a four foot vertical wall. the ditch was already three feet deep so digging down another foot wasn't that hard. the hard part was digging to make the back wall perpendicular to the ground. as it warmed up, mark made the men take more breaks to cool off. he also made sure everyone drank plenty of water. then gunny and his crew pulled back into the subdivision at 1: 15. they must have not recognized mark since he was down in the ditch and covered with dirt. he thought about how much he was going to enjoy a shower later and felt bad about the men who were as covered in dirt as he was and had no way to really get clean. the foxhole had been completed and the men that had worked on it were now working on the ditch. susan had a shovel and was down in the ditch working alongside the men. by a little after two o'clock it had become so hot that mark sent the men home for the day. they had finished almost a quarter of the ditch and one of the fox holes. not too bad, mark thought. when he got home, jim was already back and had filled the shoppers in on the trip to the ranch. he told mark that manny's truck was now running. mark asked jess and lisa about their trip to kroger. they had some interesting and disturbing news and lisa told mark and jim what had happened. Ergo, this is not a money making scheme on my part i'm already embezzling from numerous online bank accounts, don't worry and casino poker. The eight fatal mistakes in poker by david sklansky not too long ago, i was trying to decide on what my next poker article should be about. normally i would pick some sort of bad play that a novice was likely to make. i would dissect it and show why it was wrong. then i would give the correct play in most circumstances ; . since i have seen hundreds of bad plays in poker i had plenty to choose from. then something hit me. with all the arguments and analysis as to how to play a poker hand, there are really only eight things you can do wrong in a flat limit game. after all, there are really very few options in poker. when it is up you to bet, you can bet or check. when there is a bet to you, you can call, raise or fold. thus any "bad play" that you might make during a poker hand must fall into one of eight categories. upon realizing this i had the subject for this chapter: define and analyze the eight general mistakes in poker and give some specific examples where they might come up. i consider the following chapter one of my most important and useful to the serious poker player and have thus placed it first in this section. what makes one person a winning poker player and a second person a losing one? assuming they both play in equally tough games, the obvious answer is that the winning player plays better. what does it mean to play better? this question can be answered in many ways, but it all boils down to one thing: the better player makes the correct play more often in a particular situation. in other words, he makes fewer major mistakes. what kind of mistakes is a bad player apt to make? on first glance, it may seem that there are many bad plays that one can make in poker; the fact of the matter is that they all fall into one of eight categories. when someone is playing limit poker, there are only five possible options. if he is first to act, he can check or bet. if someone else has bet, he can call, raise or fold. how much to bet or raise is an additional decision in no-limit poker. thus, no-limit adds the possibility of betting or raising the wrong amount. this mistake will not be covered in this chapter. ; all limit poker plays can be reduced to one of these five decisions. making the wrong decision is the only error that can be made. Been a question about the "d, " and the kicking game is solid. what's not to like as long as boller takes another step forward? 2. pittsburgh what a magical '04! the men of steel went from 6-10 to 15-1. but before dismissing last year as a fluke, realize in '01 and '02 they won a total of 24 games. pitt lost a handful of key players to free agency and did little to replace them, preferring to rely on their proven player development program. but will aging runners staley and bettis combine to rush for 1, 771 yards and 14 tds again? 3. cincinnati might win at least three of the other divisions in the nfl. young qb carson palmer is on his way to being a star. realizing that their defense must be upgraded, coach lewis used his top two draft choices on lb de types and then got two more defensive linemen in free agency. this division has a chance to produce both wildcards. 4. cleveland they're back to being "the mistake by the lake." new coach romeo crenel leaves the defensive coordinator's job at ne to come here where there's very little offense or defense to coordinate. new gm phil savage is very shrewd. give him two years of drafting and free agency shopping and your favorite color might be drawn and free poker.

Responsible for london in the uks conservative government which had, after all, abolished the greater london council, the elected body that had formerly run the city. he said: we cannot allow london to divide itself, and increasingly divide itself, into two worlds. it was not acceptable, he said, that there should be high unemployment within three miles of vacant jobs in the city. a lot of londoners do not share in the very successful economy. the better the thing that they are being left out of, the more the resentment builds up.17 the problems common to inner cities in the industrialised west are not going to be solved by central or federal government, whose sole idea for applying technology to urban problems seems to be to install more and more surveillance cameras. politicians and bureaucrats who scarcely ever leave central paris have no idea what to do about problem estates and racial tension in marseilles and toulon they have little enough imagination about their own poverty-stricken suburbs in aubervilliers or aulnay. our cities are poised for a huge surge in economic growth. the last time this happened, at the end of the nineteenth century, was another era of terrible inequality and poverty. it was also an era of civic pride and responsibility, when many of the municipal buildings, transport networks, sewage systems, electrical cabling and parks still in use were first created, built or installed. give cities their head now, and the fibre-optic cables, educational institutions, internet connections and urban structures needed in the weightless economy will be put in place. we will be able to return to patterns of life common before the tyranny of the suburbs. people will live closer to their work. affluent professionals and less affluent creative artists are already reviving the inner city in all the great capitals. fewer people will commute. the delights of coffee house or cafe society will return. childrens voices will be heard again in city centres as families move back in. inhabitants will start to demand parks, clean streets and decent traffic management.the inflow of people will in turn ginger up city government. what it requires is for central government to accept the inevitable and devolve power something i explore further in chapter 10 or poker. Returned to iron bow. the airlock hissed open and the pack walked on to cold pyre. celetain stood waiting for him, dressed in a tight hunter green suede suit. around the sleeves of her jacket and around her pant leg twisted a band of neon colored runes. her comp set shifted the runes' colors from blue to pink to bright silver. she brushed her straight black hair back away from her round, almond face. six acolytes stood behind her in the same garb. none carried a weapon or wore any jewelry. they were a perfect amerindian confederacy mix; two true bloods, one caucasian, a hispanic and an african. celetain did not smile, did not speak, simply turned and walked. wovoka looked at keokuk, shrugged and followed celetain. they made their way through the halls of the brule lodge ship. in other lodge ships the halls were well-lit, little children played tag and older tribals sat out on cartons playing cards or chess or arguing over politics or showing old war wounds. the brule lodge ship hallways were dark save for bright red direction beacons. the halls were empty, no playing children. in one area they passed a large gym. below dozens of tribal warriors screamed and fought a mock battle with coupsticks. wovoka grabbed the nearest auto-ladder and hung on while it took him down fifty levels. when they finally stopped they were close to the huge hanger door of celetain's workshop. celetain waved her hand in front of the door and the massive breaker rolled back. keokuk and wovoka entered a large dark room empty of furniture, equipment, decoration. after everyone was inside, celetain walked to the center of the room. it was dark except for the dim light that came in from the hallway. when celetain stopped the floor flashed with a circle of haida symbols that matched some of those on her suit. she looked at wovoka and keokuk. "come into the circle." she was both beautiful and frightening to wovoka. cavaho, wolf plume, and keokuk all walked into the circle after wovoka. the acolytes walked around the circle, each stopping at a designated point. wovoka thought back remembering celetain's mother, morningstar, who had been chief of the haida and the most powerful shaman in confederacy history. wovoka clearly remembered her failed attempt to save his father thirteen short years ago. morningstar was sought after to heal many ailments and her advised on matters of the future had been respected. but celetain prax had taken her mother's practice of shamanism to a new level with cybershamanism. celetain's digitized library of symbols, chant and new magical techniques formed a strange mystical mixture of shamanism, sorcery and cybernetics. most of the old shamans had rebuked her saying what she did was not of the old ways, not amerindian. she had countered that she was pureblood amerindian and that her new magic was therefore inherently amerindian. traditional shaman magic had been passive; fevers cured over a matter of hours with herbs and chants. celetain's magic was blatant; bullets pulled from wounds by insects or snakes and no scar left in an hour or two. and like so many of the amerindian confederacy's pursuits the uda world had embraced the successes. the media loved celetain and presented her as the "cybershaman prophet". the uda media was not wrong to do so. celetain had already showed she could indeed tell the future. but for all her dark ways, her diversions from tradition, she was nonetheless a beautiful, intelligent woman who cared for the amerindian confederacy and had proved to be a good leader. now wovoka could see many of the rumors he had heard were true. what was most frightening about celetain's magic was the difficulty in determining what was real and what was not. hard light displays had made illusions child's play. celetain channeled spirits back to speak with those left behind, but some wondered if the hard light displays that where often found in work areas provided more than simple room lighting and ready comp data. when a kichai dealer had called her a fake she had touched his chest and dozens of snakes had and playing poker.

Hoppers in the stove so that the fuel feeds into the centre of the stove. this will ensure an even burn. the stove will function without these hoppers in place but you may find the fire is uneven. use the single end of the poker provided to push the ash and debris through the grate before refuelling. this will allow the passage of air and prevent the grate from clogging. make sure there is sufficient hot fuel left to allow the fire to pick up once refuelling has occurred. this will look like a level, shallow bed of hot embers with no spaces. after prolonged use you will have a better idea of the refuelling interval and procedure. control the rate of burn by opening and closing the primary air. the fuel will burn fastest with the primary air fully open. to get the fire going open the air controls. once it is established, close the secondary air and use the primary air for controlling the rate of burn. once the fire is running, you may find that opening the secondary air a little, will help to keep the glass clean. this is good practice but remember to control the fire using the primary air.

Directly with debtors, and enforcing new conditions based on the acceptance of some initial losses. contrary to the conventional perception of that era, gunboat diplomacy was relatively rare, except when creditor governments justified intervention mainly on political rather than economic grounds, as was the case when the french occupied mexico in the 1860s or the british occupied egypt in the 1880s. the united states followed that general pattern as well, intervening only in the caribbean.3 5 british foreign secretary lord palmerston summed up the european attitude when u.s. states defaulted in the 1840s: "british subjects who buy foreign securities do so at their own risk and must abide the consequences."3 6 history also shows that, although countries have incentives to avoid crises with their lenders, defaults have repeatedly occurred, but they have usually been partial rather than complete, and lending has often resumed soon after the defaults.3 7 that process need not be traumatic for lender or borrower. indeed, rudi dornbusch has suggested that had korea defaulted rather than relied on the imf in 1997, koreans today would be in much better shape. such a move would have stopped the won from plunging, forced investors to take some initial losses, and quickly brought lenders and borrowers together to work out illiquidity and insolvency issues. instead, the koreans got the worst of all worlds--a prolonged currency and financial crisis and greater debt.3 8 without official third-party intervention, a system of real conditionality and reform would evolve. if sovereign bonds were at issue, for instance, bondholder committees could renegotiate debt, and the bonds them selves could be traded in the market, taking on a value that reflected people's confidence in the negotiations.3 9 while creditors may not prefer entering into such negotiations to receiving bailout money, the absence of official third-party financing gives them little choice. the same is true of private international loans made entirely to the private sector, where creditors may not wish to get.
A promo that ran last week onlos angeles' 93.1 jack fm consisted of a real caller yelling into the station's voice mail that he hated the station so much, it made him want to stick a hot poker in his ears. a few weeks earlier, in new york city, an angry mayor michael bloomberg said a very bad word because 101.1 jack fm replaced his beloved oldies station. you'd think the guy could afford a satellite radio. ; steven van zandt of bruce springsteen's e street band said it was like replacing the statue of liberty with a blow-up doll, which he meant as a negative. all that passion is being aroused, oddly, by possibly the catchiest, most democratic radio format yet invented. jack mixes up a lot of '80s music-some classic rock, a slew of one-hit wonders, a few oldies, a touch of top 40 and a tiny bit of rap. it has surgically removed everything that is annoying about radio. in most markets, jack is just music--no weather, no traffic, no song ids--and is completely automated, so there aren't even any wrongheaded djs to endure. at 1, 200 songs, the playlists are three times bigger than average, so it doesn't grate with repetitiveness, and the commercial breaks are noticeably shorter. if families still sat around the radio in happy little nuclear units, they would spend the night rocking out to jack. in the year since it was introduced in the u.s., jack radio has spread to 17 stations and spawned such copycats as bob fm and dave fm and has invented a format so widespread, it already has a name: variety hits. no concept has overtaken the nation's dials so successfully since the morning zoo hit in the early '80s. so why does jack inspire all the bile? it's not as if it were one of those seemingly hipster products that was actually created after much consumer testing by a conglomerate. jack has a lovable indie backstory, starting out as one guy's website. in 2000, bob perry, a former dj and station manager who had moved to connecticut to be near his wife's aging parents, started fooling around with internet radio. he got some cheap software that allowed him to randomize song order, causing "train wrecks"--ballads followed by headbangers. he put it up as jack and slid in some promos revolving around a fictitious cowboy named jack who made fun of the dj clichs he had heard his whole life. "i started.
Absolute poker's serinda swan joins pamela anderson and shannon elizabeth on top 10 list of women in poker. Know full well who and what she is-a 'space cadet' programmed for sex. she's a modified version of marilyn monroe." tommy overstreet had waited in and heard what greenwood said. "how much time have you spent in shasta?" "shasta?" greenwood looked arrogantly at overstreet and smiled knowingly as he said, "you don't 'spend time' in shasta, you maintain the concept if you can. i haven't lost any time there, either, if that's your next question. i go there quite a bit enough really to override houston's suggestion with ease and take what i want, when i want, and how 1 want it." greenwood began expertly accessing my sex programming and told the others in the room, "you all can come and go as you please, but i've been made an offer that i going to use." he ordered me to undress and bend over the desk where he roughly sodomized me as he said, "you're going to think it's daddy all over again". when greenwood was through with me, i was ordered out into the amphitheatre concert area. during intermission, i met up with swiss villa manager hal meadows, tommy overstreet, and governor clinton in the hall. clinton was wearing a cap that read "diesel trainer" which i was told to equate literally as "these-will-train-her". puzzled, 1 looked at his cap and asked, "are you a conductor?" clinton smiled and said, "of electricity". overstreet laughed as he continued, "actually it means i check cabooses. how's yours?" i squirmed. apparently greenwood had bragged about sodomizing me. they laughed even harder as clinton said, "still running, i'm sure". houston stepped out of the dressing room to greet clinton, "hi, bud." houston extended his hand. "i hear you made governor." "i hear you deliver a hell of a one liner, " clinton replied, cryptically referring to cocaine and not houston's so-called comedy routine. "i'm always aspiring to achieve new heights." "well, come on in, " houston invited. "i have enough cocaine ; to put us all into orbit." i walked into the dressing room with them as houston was saying to clinton, "i suppose there are no limits for you since you're across the stale ; line." "what line?" clinton feigned surprise and ignorance. he looked at hal meadows as he continued, "you mean i've left that state of mine? in the state of mind i'm in, there are no boundaries anyway." he walked over to the table and snorted a line of cocaine. "i come here to get away from it all. this kind of business is pleasure." "so where's that young wife of yours?" houston asked, referring to hillary. "she's with friends." clinton sniffed the coke further up his nose. "she's minding her own business. i'm just here to unwind, see the show, maybe do a little hunting referring to a most dangerous game ; . i've got a bird helicopter ; ready to fly me back when i'm through. hey, speaking of 'byrd' he gestured my way ; i hear she's moved up to the big house white house ; ." referring to his friend and mentor senator byrd he asked, "so what's his position now?" "the same." houston answered. "probably like this." houston pantomimed a lewd sodomy pose while everyone laughed. "he still runs the show." clinton kept his eyes fixed on houston's "caboose" and said, "why don't you show her referring to me ; me way out and show me that again?" if 1 could.
